I had an Sam's Choice Bacon & Aged Cheddar beef patty with stir-fried onions (cooked with the burger) plus ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, and a bit of avocado. Was going to have it on an onion roll since I had a couple of those in the freezer, but since I like the little Mission Net Zero tortillas so much, decided to try 2 of them as a "roll" for the burger (I used the sundried tomato & basil ones).

The tortillas are just slightly bigger than the burger when fully cooked, so they worked well and were VERY yummy with it!! The burger was a bit of a "splurge" in terms of calories, fat, etc., and the onion roll would have been too (well, calories and carbs in that case).

I continue to be amazed at how much I love those low-carb and no-net-carb tortillas. Maybe I should fill a freezer with them, LOL!

(Forgot to take a photo! But I have more of those beef patties in the freezer so may splurge again in a few weeks. )

Happy Thursday night, all!

Whole Foods had a good sale on halibut, one of my favorite fish but I don't usually splurge since it's so expensive. I bought two filets and I'm baking it with a mayo/lemon/herb topping and we will have baked potatoes and steamed asparagus with it.

Our son had luck finding wild morel mushrooms yesterday so we got some sirloin steaks to treat ourselves. We'll have garlic toast, the obligatory bleu cheese salad, and I'm going to make some onion rings.

Tonight at the Case abode: Vittles.

Okay, those vittles entail these details: I'm dressing up a thin-crust, cheese pizza half-and-half, one side with Italian sausage and sliced white onion, and the other side with double anchovy.
