Ham & bean stew. Was supposed to be soup. Wife started a bone broth two days ago from a couple of ham bones from shoulders & pulled pork roasts done in the smoker over the summer. Diced up leftovers went in with 3 kinda beans. She let it simmer all day yesterday and let it sit for today. Came out a bit too thick to be called soup but it made a great stew!

I didn’t think they were super sweet. I checked reviews and seems some thought a mix of sweet and savory. Looked like more thought subtly sweet.
Sounds good. I'd try at least a couple with marinara.
Tonight: roast chicken, green beans, mac and cheese, a roll, water, small amount of vanilla ice cream.
Son gave us turkey dinner leftovers from our Canadian Thanksgiving dinner for tonight with my homemade cranberry chutney and potato dumplings. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.
Grilled chicken, grilled onions/red bell peppers/jalapenos, basmati, mixed green salad
