today is spoiled brat's 80th BD: we are going to his favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner. Our son, from Florida is flying it to surprise his dad. That will be the nicest birthday dinner and present he could get. On Sunday, we are having a big birthday surprise dinner at our daughter's. That is when the rest of the family will be here, including our daughter from Florida and our son's long time girlfriend from Florida.

Well happy birthday to your spoiled brat! May he have a wonderful year!

Tonight I am making pot roast. I found a new recipe that I am trying.Stable Café Pot Roast | Biltmore. I'll make some mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus to go with it.

Right now, I'm feeling a little Mexican. Not sure what to make. Maybe Laura707 Doritos Casserole from years ago.

Happy birthday to your SB!

We're off to the Delmarva Wool & Fiber Expo in Ocean City, MD for the weekend. No idea what's for dinner tonight, but I know I won't be cooking!

Happy 80th! May you have a happy birthday with many more!

I'm doing tomato soup with grilled cheese tonight. The vitamin C will be good. I've been working on a sinus infection. This weather is so up and down. And who knew we could have tree pollen ( mountain cedar) blowing up here from Texas all winter long..... happy weekend folks!

I'm freezing today (actually its been rainy and cold the last few days and we had snow on Monday). Tonight I want something heartwarming. We're having Hungarian goulash over egg noodles, Caesar salad, 2 bottles of Cabernet and salted praline bread pudding for dessert.

So instead of making Mexican, I bought Mexican. A big steak burrito for DH and dos corn tacos for moi.
