Simple supper - mustard greens and arugala braised with garlic. Herbed quinoa. Savory, cheesy cornbre with herbs and peppers. Lotsta hot sauce. For my son and for me.

For desert, icecream or watermelon slices. Or both.

Homemade skillet mac & cheese, with a side of asparagus (that I had to cook up before it went bad) for good measure .

It was a much welcome treat for a very grey, wet, and cool Seattle day (felt more like a day in March or April!).

Tonight is marinated pork tenderloin. I will either bake or grill it depending on the weather. I will make country style green beans to go with. I also plan to finally get around to making potato salad.
