Tonight: Saltgrass for a really good mesquite-broiled chicken sandwich (with gouda, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, and honey-mustard) sided with fries, iced tea, and a glass of merlot.
had dinner at a friend's house. homemade salsa with chips, crudites & chili ranch dip, and for dinner pan cooked cod filets with lemon pepper, steamed green beans & carrots, and a Greek salad, and a nice Pinot Noir to go with.
We are having our pretty usual Sunday dinner or one of them anyway: steak, baked potatoes and a nice green salad. I am probably going to use my griddler even though we are in the grilling season big time. Our sliding glass door to our patio where our grill is got shattered the other day when the lawn guys mowed and used the weed eater. They have removed the outer part of the door, but have recommended we do not go do not use the door or even go to near it to be safe. The new one will not be installed until Jun 16th. Looks like our outdoor cooking is on hold for awhile. On the other hand I might suggest to spoiled brat he use the other door, walk gently and still grill.
I'm sick of all the usual suspects for dinner. Tonight I am making this Spinach Triangles (Fatayer Sabanegh) Recipe - Allrecipes.com I'll also make a semi homemade pepperoni pizza. I think I will make mango lassi for dessert. I might not be able to wait for dinner though I am having mango cravings!
