"Mountain-style" fresh Italian green beans cooked with bacon, onion, a serrano, and some fresh thyme. I'll make cornbread sticks or muffins to go with.
Turkey schnitzel.
Stirfry: sweetheart cabbage, sweet red bell pepper, carrots, red onion, chili pepper.
Baked potato w/ sour cream.
Baked apples with cinnamon & brown sugar.
Weather is cold and rainy - I want comfort food. Husband is being a cranky pants today, so he can fend for himself.
I'm not feeling to terriblebadawful with the rain/storms (oddly enough - usually they'd be laying me flat), so I think I will make myself some Velveeta Shells & Cheese and hot dogs. Too bad I don't have frozen spinach (only kind I like) - that would have made it perfect (and what my mom used to make on Friday evenings.) Maybe I'll just CALL my mom while I'm eating - that should do the trick!

Now see, I'd go for the green beans. I LOVE green beans prepared like that! I don't use the Serrano or thyme, I just make a "wilted lettuce" type of dressing with the bacon drippings, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. But DAYUM those are good green beans!
