I am to far behind to read everything. I hope all the spouses and children are better and that everyone is warm and safe. I posted this on the pet thread but wanted to share with my foodie friends.
My boy Ben's heart finally gave out. He left us 3/1/09 @ 10:45. I don't know what I am going to do without him. Even though we knew he had a heart condition, I still wasn't prepared. It was very sudden and he was gone in seconds.
I know we gave him a good life. He turned 3 in December. My vet said that if it wasn't for me he would never have made it that far.
I want him back so bad. He was my constant companion. Always at my side. I have never loved an animal as much as this beautiful boy.
Jessie sorry for you loss pets can be such a part of the family.
Thanks Jax. He was my "boy". My youngest is 16 now and very busy. Ben and I were always together except for when I was at work. I am going to be very lost for awhile.
Afternoon everyone. Ugh, hubby is driving me crazy working from home a ton lately. It's so hard keeping my 4 yr old quiet and out of his hair and me not being able to use the computer. I finally kicked him out of the house to go and work and now the computer is all mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dinner tonight is going to be chicken pot pie. Yummy. I made an apple pie yesterday so that will be dessert.
By the way after a false start Hubby and I are both smoke free after 8 days!!!!
MTH congrats! I am moving closer to the edge of doing it too.
Tonight I have decided we are having beef burritos don't know what sides yet. Don't think it will be refried beans and rice though.
