Congratulations, Cyn and AmberBaby! It's great to hear that all are doing well. Today, for lunch, green chile cheeseburgers with fresh salsa. Then I'll try to get a little sleep as I'm working a double shift tonight and tomorrow days. Have a good one all.

Ok what is a "green chili cheeseburger" and don't say a "green chili hamburger" with cheese.

There is a grand opening of a new, local shopping center today and they're supposed to have SNOW! It's probably more for the kiddies, but I am sooooo snow deprived living here in the desert I just have to go and get a fix. We'll probably spend the rest of the day checking out all the new stores and then I'll go back out for some more snow. LOL. I can't imagine what that'll be like in 100+ degree heat.

I'm not sure yet if we'll catch dinner while we're out, or if I'll make something after we get home.

Okay, how about a cheeseburger with green chile. Which is actually what it is, a regular cheeseburger with green chile added. This is, I think, actually an authentic New Mexico creation...been eating them all my life. I just grill the burger, add the cheese and chopped/diced green chile. Then, of course, lettuce, onion and tomatoes. One of the great comfort foods of all time! And, of course I only use the hot green chile.

I did get all caught up in the stuffed pepper thread earlier this week but have decided cheesburgers on the grill. Just made mac salad with whole wheat shells (hoping hubby won't notice) lots of red and yellow peppers, celery, onions, grape tomatoes and peas.

Friends I think you all know BeBette. Please keep her and her family in your prayers as they have suffered a terrible loss.

Thank you all.

Thank You, so the green chili is added like a condiment, it isnt mixed in the meat before making the pattie. I think I will try it with my Medium hot chili peppers.

Default Homemade borsellini

Tonight it will be some homemade borsellini with an Italian sausage filling...drizzled with some butter and Paresan cheese shreds. I thin the sides will just be s simple spinach salad and some reshly baked Italian bread.
