I love mine, use it all the time, for dough and bread..... there is nothing better than the smell of baking bread wafting through the house..... speaking of which, think I am gonna make some whole wheat cheese bread today, and perhaps some french onion soup?

BTW, good morning, everyone! Its spring here in Florida, and that brought to mind this question..... Do y'all cook seasonally? If so, what are your favorite spring recipes?

Default Pasta Shells

Thanks for that one, too, UncleBatz via cynwldkat. If things look 'fancy,' I sometimes shy-away. Silly, because I will tackle many a complicated recipe.

I am so happy you liked the chicken dish. Healthier than frying things for parmiagiana, and I'm not sure most people could tell the difference. It's also a good recipe for adding your own twist(s) to, too.

This morning, I wanted some pancakes so badly until I could hardly stand it. We were amazed at how easy, and delicious, the pancake batter recipe is from the wonderful, old stand-by, The Joy of Cooking.

Please don't ever tell my Dad, though, who prides himself on his old family recipe for pancakes.

That is one cook-book I do have, Joy of Cooking (somewhere, we still have crates packed in our shop from our move from CA to NC).

I've been going back to so many back pages today and coping and pasting the recipes I didn't get earlier---never thought about keeping them all in a file but am so happy I'm doing it now. You would be amazed how big my file is now!! And I know all these recipes are good! I got them here!!

Denise, so sorry to hear hubbie isn't feeling well. Guess there a lots of bugs going around. Chicken always makes a person feel better---now don't you catch what her has!! A seafood festival sounds really good. Don't think they have them here though.
There is one in Grant (Indian River County) every year. It's pretty good and I was so looking forward to going, but.....

I made a layered enchilada casserole I found on bon appetits site that I tinkered with, and made yucca fries with it, very, very tasty. Just couldnt get into making onion soup today, good thing, its going to get cold later this week, will have the soup then.
