This was the first year I've played golf on a semi regular basis (every other week or so) and it's been an awesome summer!! So good, in fact, that I'm determined to keep my golf season going through the winter. Here in the PNW you can play year-round if you can weather the gray winter weather. I don't care if my golf buddies bail and I'm the only one out on the course, I want to keep playing.

A great round of golf during the summer ends with a few empty beer cans in the cart. How about a good winter round? Any ideas for warm drinks I can bring with me? Out of all the warm beverages I love coffee the most, but also tea, hot chocolate, you name it. Extra brownie points for warm "adult" beverage recipes!

I googled it and I'm seeing a few recipes with Frangelico. Anybody tried any?

Butter, with a side of Bread // Easy family recipes and reviews.: SPICED CARAMEL APPLE CIDER

Mix it with some brandy or rum (or both :P )

If you want to use Frangelico, it is good with coffee and Bailey's (since both are low proof, it helps to use both)

Try a cocoa loco: hot chocolate with a shot of Buttershots in it.

One half coffee, one half hot chocolate, a bit of something to top that off. Your choice.

BTW, a golf course is a waste of a good drop zone.

I went with coffee and Bailey's. It was AWESOME!

Next on the list is definitely cocoa loco.
