I have a recipe for a sinfully good apple/walnut pie that has a cream cheese glaze drizzled over it while it is warm. My niece gave it to me and I think it came from her MIL. I have not made it in years, but good golly.....that is the best ever. It is extremely deep crust pie and could probably clog up at least three arteries with every bite!!![/quote]
That apple/waklnut pie sounds delish. Could you post the recipe - maybe in the recipe section. I have a bunch of apples and that would be perfect to make. Or, send it to me in a private message.
Pecan is by far my fave. I also like about any fruit pie (w/a big scoop of vanilla ice cream) and also Boston cream pie, but I'm really don't classify that as a pie, but love it all the same.
