I havent looked past the first page in here but just curious, what is your most breakfast favourite cereal?
I used to love Trix, but over the years, something about them have changed and cant figure out what it is (besides the shape) so these days, probably among a few other choices, like Golden Grahams, Kix and strawberry Special K. And yes, you definately can taste the difference between the name brands and that generic stuff!
At one time, I liked those cereals you have to mix with milk or water, and cook on the stove, like Cream of Wheat or Quakers Oat Meal, and I remember a couple of times I left the mix on the stove and walked away to do something else and forgot about it.. Yeah.. when I came back to the kitchen, it was a burnt glob of something that didn't look too good. Does that make me a Cereal Killer?
I remember the cream of wheat, and I LOVE the chocolate malt-o-meal. And yes, who hasnt at one point or other, cooked it and walked away, forgetting about it, lol?
I'm a sugar fanatic and I've always and still love - Lucky Charms & Capt. Crunch. When I was a kid, my grandmother would always have Corn Flakes which she would add fruit - I hated it. When I had the Mumps, my mother could only give me lucky charms because it was difficult to swallow, she would seperate and leave only the marshmellos. Even as an adult, when I get a sweet tooth, I reach for the above cereals and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
My daughter and husband both prefer Honey Nut Cheerios!
I love Quaker Instant Oatmeal (maple and brown sugar or apples and cinnamon), Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Grape Nuts (with sugar sprinkled on top!), Coco Krispies, and Basic 4 (thought I don't know if they still make that??)
