To me, the milk has served its purpose and I dump it down the drain (like the water in the bucket after mopping).

And having said that, I don't like the idea of drinking it because I see it as sort of tainted and used.

What say you??
Give it to the nearest cat.

Just a friendly message to everyone that cats are not supposed to have lactose. Yes, I know, people always used to give cats whole milk, but that doesn't mean it's the proper thing to do. I buy my cats milk from the cat food area in the supermarket. It has essential taurine in it and is almost completely lactose free. It only costs about $2 for three nice containers of it and it's resealable so that you can keep it in the refrigerator for them.
My very big cat, O'possum, asks me for it daily.
The brand is "Whiskas". Not whiskey!

Blasphemy!!

If I love the cereal, then I adore the flavored milk left behind.

I usually drink it (It has some added flavour from the cereal)

I slurp that cereal nectar down like there's no tomorrow. Who said syrupy-sweet cereal doesn't serve a purpose?

When I used to eat cereal I thought the leftover milk was the best part of the whole breakfast

Neither. I pour more cereal into the bowl to soak up the milk.

If you can't drink it for some reason, figure out how much to pour in the first place.

Pouring milk down the drain... some people.

I use coconut milk on my granola, and I only pour about 1/4 cup over it so it soaks in. There is no milk left over.
