I really needed a third option. I do drink the milk if there's any left but I use my spoon.

But while I'm having the cereal, I like to make sure it's in the right proporion so there ISN'T any left at the end, eg. the last few mouthfuls might have a higher ratio of milk.

Also, after so many years of preparing your cereal and knowing how much milk might be wasted, why not keep adjusting the amount so it's perfect? Like crackers and cheese? 8 slices of cheese with 9 crackers just doesn't cut it. Unless you make the last one like a sandwich.. sorry getting off topic..

Lately though, my cereal of choice is Weetabix, which is very absorbent. And my milk is unsweetened almond milk with a nice fat dollop of coffee cream. Mmmm.

Your poll left out an important choice: give the remaining milk to a pet...

I pour mine out, but I'm super careful to pour only the right amount of milk into my bowl to float the cereal. So it's usually just a few tablespoons of "cerealed milk-concentrate". I should probably bottle it and sell it to kids on the street corner.

[x] My milk is drank from a glass. I don't use milk in cold cereal. The milk doesn't mix well with the cereal, so I use water instead.

As opposed to the stuff it would join in your stomach? Talk about an unwelcome mental picture!

Why would I pour the leftover milk into the drain?????
I drink it or add more cereal.

Rarely eat cold cereal, more of a childhood food.

Occasionally will boil up a pot of whole rolled oats served with butter and cream. Delicious.

I voted for the first option in the poll but actually I try to finish cereal and milk at the same time.

My milk is lukewarm. I don't like it cold with cereal.

My cereal today is healthier than 50+ years ago and the cow's milk has been replaced with oat and nut milks but any left behind after my cereal is gone, still gets "gulped down, bottoms up"!
