He's safe! It doesn't seem to include Beefaroni! Phew!

On a side note, due to Rainroosty's love of Beefaroni, I'm getting some when I go grocery shopping this weekend. Peer pressure really IS a good thing!

Wouldn't it make more sense to require retailers to put a sticker on each can, that explains the problem and advises the consumer to thoroughly cook the product before serving?

This national hysteria to recall food that would feed an entire African country, when it is perfectly safe to eat when prepared property.

Looks like I have myself a reputation! Lucky that the Beefaroni is okay to eat. How odd that this recall happened just as I discovered the CVS Beef Ravioli Thanks for the nice thoughtfulness, friends!

How do you "thoroughly cook" Spaghetti-Os though? Just sayin' - I'd rather take the risk than eat MUSH lol (not that I consider spaghetti-os food per se).

I don't see how the tiny increment of meat in them can still be undercooked, if the whole pot has been brought to a boil for just 5 or 10 seconds. Beef is properly cooked at, what, 135 degrees? Leave your cans out in the sun for an hour and the beef will be properly cooked.
