Really depends, but many here have posted they are around the St Augustine area and many also around the Tampa area.

For some reason many midwesterners seem to love the Tampa area.

Post your question inside the box so people can quote you. It will help.

They tend to settle on the west coast from Pasco County southward to Naples.

I'm from MI and we are giving serious thought to Jacksonville FL and Chattanooga TN. Many former MI residents that left here opted for NC, MS, TN and AL too.

Yes, I own a condo in Gulf Shores, AL, and there's a good many Michigan "snowbirds" in that area every winter.

I'm guessing that the FL panhandle gets a pretty good many, too.

After living my whole life (22 years) in Michigan, other than being born in WA, I have researched the whole country and found that the Tampa area is where I want to start after graduation in December.

Midwesterner here and our top choice would also be the Tampa area. BUT we haven't been to the Panhandle or to Jax.

A lot of midwesterners end up in SW Florida. They just shoot right down I75. People on the East Coast take I95 and end up in SE Florida mostly. There are people from Michigan and other parts midwest all over the state though. You definitely won't feel alone.
