Did I say sale price? I meant hallucination price. Also, 3 houses that were for sale when I moved in over a year ago are still for sale. I still call crash.

If a house is over priced and no one buys it, why would that be a surprise? If a house is fairly priced and no one can buy it even if they want to because they have no money, that is bad. Right now interest rates are low and a house priced a fair price should sell with no problem. We are not in any kind of situation where you can't sell a house at any price. People renting are anxious to buy, on the edge of their seats to buy, if the deal is right. Things always seem to even out at some point. I really want to build but keep looking for a deal if it comes along.

I just saw a house today almost 3000 sq. ft on an acre that went on the market on the 23rd. It is a handyman special and need some work. and is surrounded by larger properties of what seem to be very nice homes in a nice area from studying the property appraisers web site and aerial photos. It is listed by a mortgage company and may be a foreclosure. The price listed is $69,900. I could not possibly get up there to take a look at the house but I bet it is gone in a week of two. Every time I see one of those they go fast.

Muggy, they DROPPED the price by 175,000? Could you tell us what the original price was on that house? It surprises me because where I live you can buy a VERY nice home for the 175,00 that they dropped. Of course, it's a bit chilly here right now.
