You're kidding, right? A thread w/ 30 posts proclaims I "care so much"? I could ask the same of you.

What part of your own words do you not understand? It is now part of a LARGER metropolitan area. I was born and raised in Broward and Palm Beach, so I don't have a horse in this race, troll.

A metropolitan combined statistical area is not the same thing as a metropolitan area, please do yourself a favor and look into this.

Sorry, but you are wrong. A CSA is just that. It is COMBINED. The St Lucie metro is now included in a NEW larger metro area = CSA. Try to mince words all you want, but the title of the thread has come to fruition.

No need to feel sorry, pal. But It is, in this new CSA.

Do you really deny the obvious? Miami metro, Ft. Lauderdale metro, WPB metro and St lucie metro are now a COMBINED metropolitan area. If we were debating cultural differences between the areas, then I would agree. But, that is not what the case is. You are not an official. Your opinion doesn't make it truth. Get over it. . .

You really need to understand that there are different classifications for things, and a combined statistical area is not the same thing as a core Based Statistical Area or a metropolitan statistical area. A combined statistical area does not replace a core based statistical area, which is something that you are failing to grasp, and for that I'm very sorry.

I did not make the determination the Saint Lucie County is not part of what is know as the South Florida Metropolitan area or perhaps more properly the Miami-Fort Lauderdale - West Palm Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area, but rather the Office of Management and Budget did.

Believe me, I understand what you are saying. When I posted the op, there wasn't the CSA that I am talking about now.

The thread title says "include". This allows for a broad spectrum. The title doesn't say anything about MSA's being the criteria for this inclusion.

Now there is a definition that "includes" the St lucie area with the South Florida area.

I can't think of a more simplistic way to put it.
