Now you have me thinking, since I drink wine Every Sunday at 10am.

There are no laws prohibiting you from drinking wine at 10AM on Sunday. Just make sure you have bought it in advance.

I don't believe for a second that these laws don't have their roots in a religious concern. I seriously doubt that there is no correlation between the few hours of the week during which you can't purchase alcohol and those same hours just happening to coincide with the hours most church going folks are actually going to church. It may not be a religious law but it certainly was inspired by religious lawmakers who decided to legislate morality, if only during those few hours. And, whoever was first, continued to inspire other lawmakers to either adopt or modify those laws for themselves.

It doesn't matter. The legislature passed a law that it is authorized to pass.

Even in Key West, sales of alcohol are banned before 12 PM on Sundays.

Read my earlier comment...no argument there. Just keeping it an honest conversation.

The real question is, why are you drinking in the morning?

It doesn't mean I have to support that law. Our state's alcohol laws are wacky to begin with, all for no really good reason.
