What do you mean Daytonadewd? I am not talking about a daily commute, I am talking about a rare drive to meet a big client or for marketing purposes.

blakesq: Just going by what residents on these boards and elsewhere have said. Something about the stats not counting the seasonal people who come down in the winter months, and they count for a lot of people. Not trying to talk you out of it. I'm in CT also, and researching myself to get out!

Actually, the median age in Sarasota is 41. I have no idea where you got you info from. LOL

I am a Sarasota native and can tell you there are tons of kids there and lots for them to do. I'm guessing you've never been to Sarasota before. It's far from "old" feeling and very artsy.

On another note, I've heard decent things about Jupiter. IMO, the beaches on the Atlantic side don't hold a candle to the gulf side beaches.

I was in Sarasota, but long ago. But, since you live there, obviously you know better. Don't know why people would say it feels old??

Law is a sh it show in south Florida stick with I-4. I think St. Pete would be a nice spot you could commute from sarasota/bradenton if you like. If you want to practice in South Florida you must know spanish
