It's so funny that you posted this... I was just thinking earlier this evening, "Where is Navarre?" (I see it all the time on your "Location")

I have never been to the panhandle, I hear it's beautiful. My friend's family lives in Fort Walton and Destin. I have to stop by for a visit sometime.

I had my cousins from NYC over for a 4 day trip and they are crazy about the place. Best vacation ever for them....

I would love to get up there sometime. I have been around the country, but not in my own state panhandle!

I've been all over this state - except for the panhandle. Sunrico, after everything you've posted, I'd love to come up and have a look!

Our last trip to this area we took our time and looked around allot, wow, what an awesome area !!
If the antiques/flea markets etc were in that area like they are in central Fla that would be my place to live without any doubt.

Navarre is like a trailer park town in my opinion.

You can get houses there dirt cheap cause nobody wants to live there.

It is a nasty panhandle town that wishes it was a big city like panama city.

It was also hit by 4 hurricanes.

It is in the center of hurricane alley, i would not live there if it was free.

Well, don't hold back. We need to know how you really feel. I've lived here since 1989, (and in the county since 1980), and although I would be the first one to tell you that Navarre is not Paradise, (and neither is any place else, realistically-speaking), I would hardly describe it as "a nasty panhandle town".
