I'm sure it's as sensationalized / non realistic as CSI Miami, but I like it better for some reason...

I've been watching it just to get my Florida fix......so far it's been ok. The acting isn't the greatest, but I'll give it more time for the characters to develop.

I watched the Muck Bowl episode on Hulu, because I heard Bobby Bowden made a cameo. The show was really corny. Totally unrealistic, and the actors/actresses they had portraying Pahokee residents were awful. Not believable at all. It was good to see Coach Bobby though.

It's been a long time since I watched a TV Drama. The only thing I watch on TV is sports and the occasional sitcom. I had forgotten how bad the acting is on TV Dramas.

I watched the first two episodes. Recorded the next two but haven't quite found the time to watch those yet. The first episode was the worst, no coherent plot, choppy editing/directing, and a solution that was out of left field. The second was a shade better, but still not upto even an average level for such dramas.

The location shooting is also a bit of a mystery. Episode 1 was obviously in the Tampa area, but episode 2 seems to have been filmed around Ft. Lauderdale.

Perhaps most distracting for me was the strange accent of the main character, who is I think Australian but trying to sound like he's from Chicago. The result is very distracting.

Default It looked good

I tried to watch it but the girl with dirty blonde hair that plays off of him is irritating. Plus I get this feeling that they thought he was kind of Dexterish in looks and attitude but there is NOOO comparison!

Yeah its called the Glades, but that episode definitely showed the Tampa skyline at one point and the Don Cesar in St pete beach...? Great show tho!
