Heels are nothing but a fashion fad that comes and goes and also depends on age and ability. There is nothing inherently natural about heels and womens feet, it was just made up. Some people like them and some don't. Not wearing heels doesn't make anyone frumpy or lazy or unattractive, that is an entirely different issue.

I can say that heels are dangerous and bad for your health. Why would men equate something like that to "beauty" unless they really had an issue with women? I don't know. It's not far removed from getting fake boobs or lipo, which also seem to be required for "beauty" in some circles these days. Pornification of women....that's really where all comes from. In that respect it's not surprising that men like women in heels, just as they like them looking ready for sex at all times too. That's not my concern however, that's not why I exist.
Fortunately many men like natural girls, sans makeup even. That probably surprises those who like the dolled up look but it says a lot about the man and how they relate to and perceive women. It also says something about how much stimulation men need, more and more and more. Once you get used to one thing then you need to add another. Some men have become immune to the natural look of women and need them to do various things in order for them to get aroused.

That said, I wore heels (and sexy clothing) when I was young but not any longer. I can't even if I wanted to because I have too much metal in one of my ankles that my foot doesn't bend properly anymore.

Percentage of Overweight, Obese Americans Swells

Feb. 10, 2010 -- More Americans are becoming overweight or obese, exercising less, and eating unhealthy foods.
That’s the finding of the latest Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, which shows that 63.1% of adults in the U.S. were either overweight or obese in 2009.
That was a small but measurable increase from 62.2% the previous year. The survey finds that 36.6% of Americans are overweight and 26.5% obese.

Riiiiight, holding a baby, talking on the phone, and putting dishes in the sink at the same time is real hard.

No, that's just how you view men in general. Useless.

Regardless, the fact remains that men require more food because we are BIGGER then women so we require more nutritional support. Furthermore, we require more food because we use our energy to build bridges, cars, ships, planes and other modern wonders that ungrateful women like you use everyday.

I swear, men need to go on strike so we can let women like you climb telephone poles, dig ditches and mine the earth risking ones own life just to make ends meet.

Uaaa it takes 2.

And so what that a man goes crazy over a good looking woman? It's actually NORMAL but western women like you who use sex as a reward and punishment, and use sex to keep a man in place don't see it that way unfortunately.

Yes, I love wearing heels, and elegant dress is in our culture. However -- and that's for all you men who are pining for feminine women who always look like movie stars -- elegant dress costs money. I own a small fortune in shoes. (And please, no snarky comments on this one. Despite the fact that we women possess evil superpowers, even we cannot simultaneously own a bunch of high-heeled shoes and not spend any money on them.) Russians in general, unlike Americans, wear their wealth on their sleeve; it's reflected in their clothing. Thus, they spend a much greater proportion of their income on clothing and accessories. Whenever I have friends visiting from Russia, I, as someone with a foot in both worlds, still find myself SHOCKED at how much they spend on designer clothing and footwear. Clothes and shoes are viewed as assets and status symbols, almost as important as houses and cars. If "American" women (I put that in quotes because I, too, am an American) were to dress like Russian women, they'd spend a lot more on their wardrobes than they do now.

And there is another, practical reason why Russian women wear heels outside and "American" women do not. Russia has a lot less urban sprawl. Cities and towns are more compact and dense. Commutes are shorter. In the US, in urban areas at least, commutes are INSANE. If you live in Moscow and it takes you only 20-30 minutes to get to work, it's not a big deal to wear heels. But if you live in a suburb of NYC, and it takes you 2 hours to get to the office, most of which you have to spend on your feet, changing trains twice and climbing innumerable stairs, doing all that in heels is madness (though some still manage). Lots of women around here commute in sneakers and put on high-heeled shoes once they get to the office.
Good post, but Americans do wear their wealth on their sleeve but just in a less sophisticated way.

For example, many Americans buy 150 dollar sneakers, 350 dollar sunglasses, 1500 handbags, and expensive casual Armani Exchange shirts/pants.

Yeah, funny--women only perpetuate hypocrisy by using sex as reward and punishment.

I believe scientifically, women excel at multi-tasking and pain threshold.

However, modern society as trained women not to excel at these. Women may have the capacity to excel at multi-tasking and have pain threshold, but it's not often put into practice.

Can't tell you how many times I've seen women in all sorts of situations break down due to stressful situations of multi-tasking or pain. That includes military and everyday life.

Now, when I say women have the capacity to do these things--it's only when they are forced to; i.e., World War II.

However, now with advances in technology, higher incomes, changes in society--women do not need to have such a high pain threshold or an ability to multi-task, nor do men.

At the end of the day, both men and women have turned into lazy ****s.

With the added benefit of not knowing how to put it together.

On one of the military bases in Europe, a group of women would have their 1000$ handbags, 350$ shades, yet still wear dirty trainers and scummy Levi' jeans they bought at the PX/BX. But--they had their 1000$ handbag. My friend, who bought his wife a 1000$ handbag, said the only reason she wanted it was to "compete" and be "like the other girls".

Americans in general dress this way--even men. Jordans, 300$ sunglasses, expensive electronics, cars. Not like that at all in other countries.
