Get some sea salt (fine grain) in your palm and a ploop of olive oil and roll your hands around each other like you are washing up for surgery. It will get rid of all that dry back of the hand, cuticle winter sludge off so your lotions work better because they are hitting fresh skin.
I don't always rinse after this and it feels like Kiels hand cream if I don't rinse. It just does not last as long if I am really dry and don't top it off with a lotion. (humectrant needed to retain moisture)
- Extra virgin olive oil as eye makeup remover (when I'm out of my regular makeup remover. I can't stand the feeling of oil on my skin).
- Aquaphor for my lips when I go to bed.
- Egg yolk mask
- Cucumbers for my eyes for days when I get very little sleep; tea bags work too
- This aloe vera and cucumber extract lotion I got from Walgreens. It smells nice and it's been the only lotion that really moisturizes my skin during the winter without making my skin feel oily and sticky. It lasts much longer than a lot of the other stuff I've tried.
- Biore restore skin boosting night serum to keep my skin moisturize when I got to bed.

What is the brand of this? Is it St. Ives? I've been looking for some of that!

Oh, it's just a generic brand by Walgreens.
I think it's the generic version of Vaseline's aloe and cucumber lotion. Originally I went in looking for that but they didn't carry a mini bottle, but Walgreens had their own version in a mini right next to it so I ended up buying it instead. I'm glad I did though.
I really like the Cetaphil daily facial cleanser for normal-oily skin. It doesn't dry out my face and it doesn't leave any weird residue that some cleansers use. It smells kinda good too.

Cheap beauty solutions I use:
1. Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque (I love using this 1 time a month. It really cleans out my pores and leaves my face nice, smooth, and not blemishes).
2. Queen Helene Coconut Butter Lotion/Moisturizer (I use this every time I get out of the shower).
3. CoverGirl makeup (all my makeup is from CoverGirl. I just love it and the price too, is very cheap).
4. Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil (just a tiny bit when I go tanning in my backyard along with SPF 30 sunscreen; no more than 1 hour).
5. Noxzema (I wash my face everyday with this. Real cheap).
6. Wet 'N' Wild nail polish (I know it's not the greatest nail polish; chips real easy, but I love the price of it and the colors they come in. And yes, it does take forever to dry, but I don't mind. Beauty takes patience, I say!! LOL!!).
