You may feel you get ridiculed or disrespected now because of your weight, but that's nothing compared to what you'll get when someone finds out you're wearing a girdle.
I would say don't.
I agree with this. A big joke going around for years has been that William Shatner wears/wore one. Spend your money on a book about Weight Lifting then on one of those "body shapers".
I know someone (a male) who wears a body shaper. It is also called a man girdle, compression garment, etc. I have gained some weight over the past 3 years and have a wide body frame due to genetics. I want to wear one so I will look a lot better in my clothes and to make my stomach and fat on my chest look a lot smaller. If you saw my body frame...you would understand. I am working on loosing weight but its difficult to get to where I desire due to my frame and genetics.
Women....what do you think about this? What would you think of a man wearing a body shaper? Would that make you stop liking/dating him?
Men...would you do it? What do you think about it?
I have seen paid programs on TV with body shapers for BOTH men and women....I am contemplating on getting one.
Over the last two years I dropped close to 70 LBS and while I've burned off the fat my skin seems to remember the heavier me especially my mid section. I'd suggest a compression shirt. They look pretty much like a regular T-shirt just a heavier one. when you wear an overshirt nobody can see it and of they did it would be presumed to be an undershirt so there's nothing to snicker about.
I find it a bit weird. However, it probably looks better than flab hanging out.
I would hit the gym hard and wear lose shirts. I am semi buff aka toned but my midsection has always been needing extra attention. I work out that area 3x as hard to keep it in check.
FYI: The OP is from 13 years ago... I wonder if he ended up getting the shaper? lol
(I don't see any issues with that, for the record; if us women can wear them, why not men?)
