I've heard warnings, before, that bra-wearing in general could cause cancer...??? I can almost see that, but then again, I can't really see me running around bra-less. That's kind of a crazy concept, isn't it? Yeah, I could die, but...
Anyway, I once saw a breast model -- yes, someone who models her breasts -- and she said she never took her bra off unless she was in the shower, and she slept in it. This was my face ---> You could offer me millions a year to be your model, but I am NOT sleeping in my bra!
So, I don't know about the harm, but I'm just not gonna do it.
Bras do not cause cancer, whether you are wearing them while sleeping or awake.
Well, I'm just referring to constant irritation of the body, that's never good. Constriction, stifling the skin, chafing, etc. And I know you need to be properly fitted to get the least irritation, but still, I don't LIKE it!

If bras caused breast cancer then MEN would not get breast cancer.
A "well fitting" bra that provides support in a comfortable way can not possibly cause "harm"
The problem is most women have never been fitted so they walk around in bras that ride up in the back - droop down in the front - have underwires that pinch - and hooks that chafe.
Go to a "real" bra specialty store and be fitted by someone who knows what they are doing - the difference is amazing.
And for those wanting "comfort" alone - the stretch wirefree sports bras without hooks or clips are quite comfortable for relaxing or sleeping in.
