LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- The nude body of a former swimsuit model found last weekend in Orange County was identified through her breast implants' serial number, two law enforcement sources said Friday.
An arrest warrant alleging murder was issued Thursday for Ryan Alexander Jenkins, a reality TV contestant whom Jasmine Fiore, 28, married in March.
Thats been going on for awhile, almost anything from a pacemaker, jaw implants, metal screws and plates and yes breast implants have serial numbers on them that can be traced back to the maker and then by batch number traced to the doctor who purchased them to use on their patient.
I wondered how they had identified this poor woman since her finger had been cut off and her teeth knocked out.
It's amazing that the serial numbers hang in there and are not washed away by bodily fluids. They must be stamped on the plastic.
