Thankfully I thought that my wife had the debit card, otherwise I would have bought a really nice (and expensive) sex toy on the Internet. Really, over the long run I want to be 'decked' out, not depressed with nothing new to wear after a couple hours of breath-taking fun.

So .... last night when my wife got home from work, our little boy tucked in bed, I ran off to Wal-Mart to fill my shopping cart with tops, bottoms, first-layer-bottoms, and cute jackets. I love the feeling of sticking it to Wal-Mart and their crappy excuses for quality clothing, by leaving lots of outfits in the dressing room to be put away. Sorry, but at least I'm creating jobs and avoiding complaining to managers that will just nod with faked sympathy, then phone security to have me escorted out the door. (by the way, they have ENTER and EXIT signs on the wrong sides).

What I bought last night were (color, size):

Lace Hipster (teal, 7) --- my butt looks NICE in that!
Thermal Tank (blue sapphire, 12/14) --- snuck into bed with it on, and slept peacefully
another thermal tank that is gray
Embroidered Twofer (blue atoll, 12/14)
Stretch Bootcut jeans (medium stonewash, 6)
Athletic Works jacket (plum, 16w)
Full Turtleneck sweater (lolita..is that a color? 8/10)

There went my spending money. I keep asking myself when I'm going to save some $$$ for electrolysis.

Thanks, TwinkleToe. Fashion has been my saving grace while in transition. I have tried to keep things simple, yet use lots of color. Oh, and one of the first things I learned is that a mirror CAN be a girl's best friend.

I went on a mini shopping spree too! Let's see:
Black pumps with a patent leather stripe
Jewel toned red tunic sweater with a fluffy cowl neckline
Wide black patent leather belt
A couple of basic turtles
Tights in many colors
An off white fleece swing style coat
Oh yes, and the knee high boots!

I think the last fashion oriented purchase I made for myself was back in August and it was for:
*Alice & Trixie silk dress
*Alice & Trixie silk blouse

I never used to be this way, but after going on hormones one of the 'mental' changes is that I love shopping for clothes. It's like a relaxant.

I have a rule I try to follow with clothes. If the item is plain in color, I like it to have some other interesting detail like pleats or flared sleeves. If the item is a vibrant color, I steer clear of additional designs and fancy stuff.
