this past weekend i bought a a lambswool fair isle sweater from JCrew, a ribbed lambswool full zip sweater jacket and a pair of chinos from Bonobos, and 3 oxfords from JCrew Factory.
I did a little shopping yesterday! I got a pair of jeans and splurged a bit on some low heel ankle boots. I picked them up at the Rag and Bone outlet for about 55% off. This put them at the top of my price point.
They look like a good replacement for a pair I got well over a decade ago that was my dressy pair with a slightly higher height on my ankle. I still have those but they are no longer practical for my lifestyle - that poor skinny heel got scuffed and scrapped walking in the city. But those boots were a splurge at the time and I wore them often for 6-7 years.
The new pair is a much higher end pair, better constructed, and has a chunky heel. It fits in better with my current wardrobe and aesthetic. And I found out it has free repairs for "life." Score! Now I won't need to resole myself.
