Do you think MAC is the best? I know a lot of people who swear by it. I'm looking to buy some high end lipstick, lip liner and eyeshadows that will wear well.

I do like MAC, I think their makeup artists are also the best.

I splurged on some Chanel makeup last month and its great stuff. I love it! Its very long lasting and I find that I don't have to constantly reapply during the day. The colors are beautiful and the makeup feels like you are wearing nothing at all. I would definetly spend $$$ to buy more of their line.
MAC is really good too. I love their lipgloss collections but find it too sticky at times.

I don't think it's considered very high end but I really love Sephora brand. I use there blush, eyeliner and lipsticks/glosses/liners. The thing with Sephora is the colors I think. They have a wide rang and alot of shades other lines lack.

I love Stila, Lorac and Nars eyeshadows. I have yet to buy MAC, though I've checked them out because people do swear by the brand. I feel like the other eyeshadows I listed are smoother than MAC.

I do like MAC along with many others; however, I have friends who swear by Clarins.

I won't use any brand exclusively.

My favs are:
Make Up For Ever (foundation, powder, shadows)
Nars (eyeshadows & blush)
Stila (shadows)
Chanel (foundation, lip gloss)
Christian Dior (lip gloss)
Laura Mercier (cream shadows)
Revlon (foundations & powders)

for some reason, I couldn't never get into MAC.

Default depends on the product....

I like Mary Kay, Laura Geller, Smashbox, Lancome to name a few. There are different products I buy from varying companies.... i.e. I love MK lipstick, Lancome for their mascara, etc. MAC has trendy eye shadows that I have some shades in as well. I usually use Laura Geller's balance 'n brighten for a foundation - I'm not into that heavy, creamy foundation look. It would melt right off anyhow down in this humidity here in South Florida!
