Have you tried the Bali "no poke" underwire? I have never been able to comfortably wear an underwire, but I can wear these. It is irritating when a product you like gets discontinued!
I would love to be a C-D cup! I'm an A-cup (sniff-sniff), and many bras don't even come in A cup. I guess a lot of bra companies think A-cup women don't even need bras???
OP, sounds like you're wearing a bra that may be too small or too unsupportive. I'd try a stylish sports bra or one of the wide-strapped ones by hanes. They've always done me wonders.
Bali bras are the best! I have also found that they don't seem to discontinue as many styles, so I have been wearing the same style for over 10 yrs. now.
I hate finding a bra, don't you? Just gotta keep on trying until you find one that meets your needs.
Why is it so hard to find a bra that does not cut and dig into you? Got measured and was told I was a C-D cup. 38-40 band. Used to wear a scretch cotton. The company Bali no longer makes it. After what seemed like hours of trying on different brands, wires and no wire, stretch and non, I thought I found one that worked. Bali brand underwire. Wore it for a few hours and it hurt. Going to return it tomorrow. Kept all the tags and receipt. Now I'm back to square one. What a damm pain!! Ideas?? Thanks.
I'm quite the opposite of you (A here - check out your local department stores, they will have fittings and specialists are there to measure you and tell you exactly what size you should be wearing. Sounds like you are wearing the wrong size.
Body by Victoria, Victoria's Secret is my favorite. You can pick them up off EBay new for under $20. They never have them in stock at the store by me in the larger sizes.

How interesting.
My spouse had the same problem. She's been measured too, and told what size she was supposed to wear, WRONG!
We bought a cloth tape measure. I measured under her bust, the band measurement, then around the fullest part of her bust.
The results were, they told her the wrong measurements totally.
For solving your own problem, measure yourself.
Result: if your band size is a 34, and your bust measurement is 36, you might wear a 34B, but hold on, different bra makers size differently, so, you might be back to trial and error again.
Go cupless. I tried it for the first time last year and love it. The under band holds up your breasts but they are still free to jiggle naturally without a lot of bounce. I never beleived it would work as I have rather large breasts but a friend finally talked me into it. Cupless is the only way for me.
Lol, at my age, and with the type of work I do, a good sports bra with padding and underwire does just fine!
