I guess I'm just surprised by how much 'fake' seems to be in. I grew up in New England in the Boston area and I think we've always been a little more conversative when it comes to style compared to places like LA, Miami, NJ, NYC, TX...but the past 5 years or so things have gotten wild everyhere. It seemed to start with fake boobs...but now it's fake eyelashes, eyebrows, lips injections, fillers anywhere you can think of, hair extensions, the nails seem out of control....plus the filters people use when they take photos so often.

I'm kind of a less is more type person. I prefer a more natural look.

Some of those I know on FB use so many filters when posting their photos I dont think I would recognize them if I saw them out in public.

same. It's ridiculous that they think that's what they look like...or not....but why post a picture that looks nothing like yourself
