Omg, I first read this to mean that there had been a marathon showing of the tv show "Jersey Shore" and you had bought a t-shirt as a souvenir. It's only 3:30 pm here right now, but I think I'll just go to bed. lol
I'm from New Jersey. WE don't watch that stupid show .
My friends sometimes make fun of me for wearing shirts that are perfectly good but say something like "County Fair 2017". How long is too long to keep wearing something like this?
Until there are holes in it. Nobody cares what you're wearing.

I wore my George Michael "Faith" tour tee for 20 years until it was shredded.

I never watched the show, but I thought the same thing. At least it's 10:00ish pm here.
As for the T-shirt event thing: most of the event T-shirts are worn for gardening or working out at home. College shirts-well I live in my college town so everyone wears the college shirts, especially on game days.
I do have an ancient concert shirt, probably the only one I've ever bought, that I'm hoping to get to wear next fall/winter when I see the band again. I do need to lose some weight. I was only 19 when I bought it so it's been two babies, decades of life, and pandemic overeating. I also need to make sure my daughter didn't steal it. She went through a teenage phase when she took a bunch of my old t-shirts cause kids thought old t-shirts were cool.

I feel the need to make it clear that I've never watched it either, aside from clips here and there that came up without warning. I'm just glad to know I wasn't the only one confused.
Ha, I never even thought of the TV show! Sorry for the confusion. Kinda sad, though, that that's what people think of instead of our beaches when they hear "Jersey Shore".

Made me laugh! And treasure my poor T-shirt's last days...
