hahahaah one day in a shopping mall I was rushing through and thought Whos that old crabbit looking woman coming towards me....was me in a mirrored pillar.. near died when I saw how awful I looked to the public.
That's OK, I knew a woman who told me she went into the department store and was surprised to see that her twin sister was there, too, so she waved to get her attention...and then she realized it was her reflection in a mirrored wall.
I applied for an extension to stay in Canada, and they wanted an updated passport photo. The photo is a horror. I look like a crazy old woman who escaped from an institution. Long grey hair, which looked OK in the mirror at home, but one eye looks bigger than the other and I thought I was smiling but I just have this sort of grimace on my face. They approved my extension, but I am not sure why. I wouldn't want somebody who looked like that in my country.
The smiling problem happens a lot. I remember my mother scolding my father for not smiling in a picture and him saying, "I thought I WAS smiling". Well, the older I get,, the more I look like Dad, and I think I'm smiling, too, but it doesn't look like it in photos. I've tried to smile harder, like a big grin with the teeth and all, and that looks just as bad. I look even more demented.
