Why would you be afraid to wear pink or lavender? If you like the colors then wear them.

I don't own a sweater, anything pink, or any pastels. I prefer dark, less flashy colors like navy blue, forest green, burgundy, and chocolate brown. That's just me, not because I'm a male.
