I have always liked Lancome cosmetics.....foundation and concealer particularly....although I don't use them daily. Of course, they are pretty pricey and I wondered if anyone here has found comparable products at a more reasonable price.

Were you aware that l'oreal is the drugstore version of lancome? Look it up - google "is l'oreal owned by lancome". You will also find reviews stating that the foundations and mascaras of both are basically the same.

The cosmetics industry is a very "incestuous" industry. The companies try to hide who owns whom, as they may be in direct competition with each other. Do yer research.

I think you should ask the Mods to move this post to the Fashion & Beauty forum. I'll bet you get a ton of helpful responses there.

If you like the Teint Idole Ultra, three possible dupes are:
Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage
L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte
Wet & Wild Photo Focus Matte Liquid (yes, it's true! Wet & Wild actually has some really good products these days! That's what I'm wearing today)

Sounds crazy I know but Walgreens has a line called 7. Some stores (mine) don't stock it but some cosmetics sales people are sent to great training and will explain and help you pick out the best product for you. Whenever I'm out of town I swing by Walgreens for makeup.
(I just googled. It's No.7 and several places carry it. )

I would buy what you like and not be label specific.

I would keep my serum and moisturizer in the same family but experiment with everything else. Have some fun with makeup.

The only marker for me is the my eyeshadow and lipstick has the be highly pigmented.
