No way would I wear fur, I don't even wear leather. I wouldn't wear faux fur either because many of them are so realistic, I would be afraid people would think I am wearing real fur. Also, putting aside the ugliness of supporting such a cruel industry, fur looks horrid on most women, faux or real. About the only ones who can carry it off are tall, slim, willowy, and young.

A beautiful fur looks beautiful on any woman. I am not saying we should support mink farming, but honestly, fur coats are beautiful. And a beautiful faux fur coat is also beautiful.
I don’t wear either. Possibly if I lived in a very cold climate, I’d own a faux fur. I really don’t care what others think. If I owned a beautiful vintage fur, I’d wear it. This all hypothetical. I not only do not own any sort of fur, I have no place to wear a fur!

I completely disagree. We used to live in a cold climate and I saw quite a few fur wearers. Unless she's tall and slim, nothing to make a woman look more like a fat sasquatch than a fur coat.

I think you are being judgy here. Calling other women Sasquatches. C’mon. And I disagree.

1. Aren't all opinions judgments?
2. Aren't you being "judgy" by accusing this poster of being judgy?
3. She didn't call other women Sasquatches. She said they looked like Sasquatches. There's a difference!

I said they look like a fat sasquatch, I didn't say they are sasquatches. And how is that judgy? I calls it as I sees it. Visually, fur adds tons of poundage.
