Better look than sandals?

They don't seem as hot as a regular pair of gym shoes but not as comfortable as sandals.
I like canvas sneakers, I'd they're clean and in good shape.

Dear God!

Those last two listed are Jesus Cruisers.

Either high end sandals, they have leather soles not rubber or flip flops (think Prada for men).

Start with Rainbows. Remember, get them wet first so they mold to your foot.

Just Say No To Tevas.

If you aren't sure about flip flops, go with Converse.

BTW, my husband wears his flip flops with kakhis or seesucker pants all the time.

Boat shoes, here, for guys, as well. If you HAVE to wear sandals, the first pair. The last three are just yuck.

There are no men's sandals that are stylish; adding socks creates a misdemeanor, probably a felony if they are of the JC lace-up variety.

if you have to wear sandals - which I typically do not like on guys, go with the first one, flip flops or Birks. The others are gross

No, they're not too dressy at all. They are perfect for the occasions you mention.

The canvas shoes are good, too--if not better.

No offense, but the more men's feet are covered, the better.

None. Just none. Men have really ugly feet. If you're not at the beach, wear shoes.

Eh. I really don't like men in sandals. Maybe at the beach or a pool.
