Do you wear your make-up when your sick or skip it? I don't wear any when I'm sick because I don't want unnecessary germs on it since I pay a lot of $$ for mine. Am I weird or are others the same way?

I don't wear makeup at all.

Years ago though when I would wear makeup, I never put it on when I was sick. Not because of germs or anything, but just because I didn't feel like it. Of course a few sniffles isn't sick, but if I had the flu or was in severe pain (slipped disc) I just couldn't be bothered to exert the extra effort.

Default hmm

I prob. should have added.. wearing make-up when sick and going out in public (i.e. work, etc.). I don't wear it when I am sick and go to work... I'm 29, though, so I don't look *too* bad without it. It's just I feel comfortable with it on, KWIM? I also don't feel up to it when I'm sick, don't want to be bothered.. so add that w/ the germ factor.

I'll at least wear a touch of lip gloss. As I've said before, my lips are pale otherwise and am not sure that I can be anemic, havent been to the dr to find out. But when Im sick, heck I dont even brush my hair!

I am phobic about going anywhere without my makeup on. My hubby thinks I sould get over it, but I just don't like to be seen without it. So yes, if I am sick and I have to go somewhere, I will wear it. But if I'm staying home, then I don't bother.

I will wear less than what I normally would. But still wear enough where it doesn't look like I am dying.

Pretty much the same here. I'm pale and I don't like to go out without- at least a touch of lipstick and/or mascara. I will....(and have) if I needed to do so, but usuallly I would wear a little make-up to go out in public unless I'm just extremely sick. I don't think the germ aspect enters in because most viruses would not last on products, only a bacterial illness would be an issue, I think.

I don't leave the house without makeup on although the level to which I fix my hair/makeup varies from a trip to the Dr office/errand running, to work in the daytime & nighttime makeup...Generally I wear the most at night time (ie more eye makeup darker lipstick, lighter lipstick prof'l styled hair for the office & a base with quicker fixed makeup for running around when I feel icky). If I'm home & not leaving for the day I don't bother with any.

I don't put all of my make-up on, usually just some mascara and blush. I don't want to scare people!

I keep my makeup pretty simple, unless it's for an event or evening out. If I'm sick (cold/cough) and still going out, I find it cheers me up to put makeup on. I feel better not looking like death warmed over!
