I don't really wear much makeup, aside from gloss and mascara, but when I'm sick, I tend to look like the walking dead, so I do like to conceal the darkness under my eyes.
I exert extra effort with my make-up when I am sick.
Like MOST the time I just do eyeliner and mascara but when I am sick I will do eye shadow and lip gloss as well.
If I'm sick AND going out in public, you bet I wear it. I don't want to go out there looking as I feel. At home, if I want to look a little better than I feel, I just dab on a little lipstick and call it good.
And I've been wearing makeup for 45 years or so and have had no repercussions from germs on makeup.
I am phobic about going anywhere without my makeup on. My hubby thinks I sould get over it, but I just don't like to be seen without it. So yes, if I am sick and I have to go somewhere, I will wear it. But if I'm staying home, then I don't bother.
My answer too!
I have a bit of rosacea in my cheeks, and it embarasses me for some reason.
If I'm sick and had to go to the store, a quick pat of powder, little mascara and chapstick type gloss works for me.
I don't wear it unless I am going to work, shopping for clothes, or going out for an event. If I am not working and not going anywhere important is does not get put on. I am WAY too lazy on my days off!
