I think Proactiv works, I've used it since high school. I'm now 28 but I still get an occasional pimple or two. It works for me but I find if I get lazy and skip one time of it- morning or night of one day I usually end up with a pimple or two a week later. GRRRRR. So the trick is to make sure you use it religiously morning and night then there's no problem!

It's just a Proactiv vending machine in the food court at the mall. You can choose to buy the whole kit or just certain cleansers that you have run out of.

-Choose the product
-Swipe card
-Machine goes up to grab your selection
-Takes selection to drop slot
-Take selection out of slot
-Prints receipt

It's kind of fun!

I used it too and it did help my skin. Not that I had major break-outs, but some blemishes and blackheads. I stopped using it but my skin is still good, no pimples or anything.

there are several "Proactive " type kits at the store made by Neutrogena, Clearasil etc...Has anyone tried those with the same effect? What is the key product? The cleanser, lotion or what....

Well guys, I went ahead and opened up the Proactiv kit this morning and put it to use. I have to say, my skin still feels really soft over 12 hours later and when I got out of the shower my face didn't burn or feel rubbery.

Hmmm... could just be the miracle product I needed.

I'll give updates if my skin clears up!

My daughter had great results with ProActiv, too, when other measures -- including those prescribed by the dermatologist -- didn't work. I have known many young people who used it with success, but there is the occasional person, who, for whatever reason, sees little or no benefit.

Nice that you can buy it as you need it at the mall, and not have to get it shipped to you.

I wish there was something like ProActiv for rosacea. I am trying some things recommended to me, too, and am trying to be patient as I hope for results, eventually.

I refuse to be a spokesperson for Proactiv without pay. I'm just kidding, this worked wonders on my teenager. I tried it and my skin did not take, felt like it was always burning. I give it great ratings, my daughter teen skin is like new and it worked within weeks.
