I've sprained my ankle wearing sneakers, flats, and flip flops. Let's ban them too! Barefoot for all!

I am okay with people wearing high heels as long as they pay their own medical bills.

Exactly! But we both know that this isn't how it's going to work out, which is why I think that some sort of strict regulation if not a flat-out (pun intended) ban should be looked at.

I don't like to wear my high heels.

I make my husband, my three cats, and my two dogs wear my high heels.

Sometimes it's a problem.

Sometimes it's not.

I love them and look good in them. I have never had an accident in them, nor have I endangered anyone. They make my already long legs look even longer.

Wearing them is a personal choice. Don't like them? Don't wear them. Don't like women in them? Don't date one.

Personally except for super tall women - over 5'8" or 9" I think almost ALL women look better in heals of at least 3".

Even taller women can get away with three inch heals and it certainly looks better than very large feet in flats.

Just - stay out of my womb - AND my shoe closet!

Post some pics and it will be taken up for due consideration.

Is this a joke? Banning a type of shoe? Seriously? If people want to injure themselves wearing high heals that's their problem. The government has much more pressing issues to address with our tax dollars.....

Mod cut: Orphaned (quoted post has been deleted).

As for high heels, I guess some women with a flat butt or short legs feel they need to jack it all up a bit as a sign of sexual availability, like those baboon females whose rear ends turn flaming red when they're in estrus.

High heels make tall women look gangly.

Meh, if a woman has a flat butt, high heels will not turn it into a bootylicious butt. I have a female coworker who is about 5'10" and a stick figure with breasts. She wears high heels and they just make her look lanky and awkward.
