I bought my DH that brand watch from Overstock for ~ $30. Its a great watch, but he still pulls out his cellphone to check the time, even while wearing the watch
That is kind of a basic watch so you can find similar watches from Timex, Armitron, Casio, Fossil, etc. for less than 100 usually at Walmart, K-Mart and other discount department stores. Or step up to closer to $200 or on sale for $200 Boulava, Seiko,Citizen, Pulzar, and maybe an Invicta but most stores only carry the larger, heavier faced ones which are more expensive.
Any recommendations? I am thinking something like this. Had never heard of the brand until yesterday. Not good reviews though. I like simple faceplates with high contrast.
If you feel like going out of your comfort zone, Ashford had a sale a couple of weeks ago for the Bulova Corvara at $188 after discount plus additional coupon code...it is like the one around 1:24-1:36 of video...black stripe....just keep going to their website on and off to catch deals.....or check out Bulova's Star Marine watches which look like Omega Seamaster on Amazon, but for under $200 on and off.

I have a citizen Eco Drive and have bought a couple for my husband. They are around the $200 range - which I find to be a good price point for me, I think they look good quality but aren't so expensive that I worry overmuch about my husband losing/breaking his (he's hard on watches)
I don't wear my watches on a day to day basis - only when I'm traveling/flying (about one or two times a month). So the Eco Drive (light powered) work well - with my old watch, I'd take it out to wear it and sure enoughm the battery would have gone dead while it was sitting in the jewelry box.....
If you have or know someone with a Costco membership, you can find very nice watches at a decent price.
