In my opinion guys should not wax their body hair, whether arms, chest, back, legs or pubic area ... unless they are professional bodybuilders or swimmers. Body hair is a secondary male characteristic and it is NOT unattracive and may even be considered sexy for some. Using a pair of scissors to trim it is okay though.

What if a guy is gender-fluid, though?

A lot of places offer a buy one get one free right now. I would ask if they don't mention it.

I've had electrolysis on my back and let me tell you, unless your friend is really serious about it he should just stick to waxing. Electrolysis cost about $70 an hour and it's took me about 100 hours to clear my back. That's $7,000 oh and just like waxing it can be painful as well, kind of like jetting stung by a be over and over it's a real joy

I think telling you to do the waxing is really a very bad idea. Tell him to get it done through a professional

I just shave mine, well actually have my wife do it. She doesn't mind the hair but I think it's kind of gross.

Ok this may sound stupid but where do they stop. Is it like a defining line or somehow faded in? I'm assuming you have chest hair.

As far as price goes it's not like laser where they determine what area is your back and what isn't. You just pay per hour. I went over my shoulders as well.
