Im 21 and i own about 12 pairs, about 4 for basketball and other outdoor stuff, and the rest are mainly nike/jordans that i keep clean and wear out and for certain occasions. Im a big fan of alot of the jordan designs, the price of them can be outrageous sometimes, but its one of the few things i purchase for myself. Shoes and watches.

What's the most you've paid for Jordans? I think for me, about $150.
1 pair of NB 810's for working (retail, always on feet) 1 pair of Lugz Savoy boots for casual daily usage. I have 4E width so I'm very limited on what I can wear. I will never wear athletic shoes as casual wear. Has to be well kept boots or shoes.
1 for yard work, 1 for running, 1 pair that has seen better days but is still in decent shape for days when I'm going out somewhere that might be rainy or muddy.
Then for actually going out in more casual settings at times when I am not wearing leather dress shoes or casual oxfords, leather boots, etc., I always keep multiple colors of low-top chuck taylors, a few pairs of vans slip ons (in place of loafers since I hate loafers), and then a few "casual oxfords" (by which I mean something like this: http://images.vans.com/is/image/Vans/OKYBQZ-HERO?$CUR-PRODUCT-1X2$ ).
If you count all of those I guess I have about 10. I am 29.
