My logic is that I have clean sheets (changed every Saturday) so, it would be wrong to get in the bed with all the dirt on me. A friend of mine who showers in the morning says that everyone sweats in their sleep; therefore, she wants to start the day off clean.
I usually shower at night. I'm not a morning person so I typically don't want to wake up any earlier then a have to. I always wash my hair at night since I like it to air dry while I sleep, and don't want to bother with the 1+ hours it would take to dry and style it if I did it in the morning.

I shower at night, in part because I'm not a morning person
& also because the way I do my hair is to twist it up into buns
so that when I wake up several hours later, my hair is dry & has curls/waves.
Every night,
I can't go to sleep feeling sweaty and nasty
