Don't be surprised if it becomes more 'expected'. The trend is removing more and more body hair.

First it was the underarms, when women started wearing sleeveless tops/dresses.

Then legs, when they started showing off their legs.

From the early 00s it was the pubic region.

Now arms.

I wonder if all the men who want their women completely shaved/waxed would do the same??? I somehow doubt it.

I think shaving forearms is a bit much. What is this obession with women trying to get their adult bodies back to pre-pubescence?

I agree. What are the reasons why people shave or wax their pubic area? I

I have a lot of dark arm hair, so I shave it. I have since I was 16.

It doesn't grow back coarse like leg hair or armpit hair. You can skip a few days, unlike the legs. But I just prefer smooth arms.

I have more hangups about women removing all pubic hair than I do the arm shaving thing!

In case you didn't notice that is what this thread is all about. If you don't like the subject, don't read it.

This is downright stupid. And I personally think little of any woman who shaves simply because some guy things she should. We all have body hair. It's a part of us. If you want a plastic barbie doll I'm sure they can be found.

If I met a guy who shaved his chest and arms I'd find it just repulsive.

Long time ago I shaved my legs. I slipped and shaved off a large chunk of skin. Big messy infection. Don't shave anything now. Some day the young who think they have to do what everyone expects will figure out that if you can't be yourself (including some body hair) and have someone like you then they aren't worth anything.

I'll bet there are plenty out there who do it only since your 'supposed to' and its rather sad they've been so well programmed.

I agree with you. If I had a boyfriend that pressured me to shave anywhere I usally don't, I would be upset and likely not do it. God gave women and men hair, and I doubt he had shaving and waxing in mind when he did that.
