I wear sunglasses because (1) squinting into the bright sunlight causes wrinkles and (2) bright sunlight gives me a headache.

Also, I like NOT being blinded by the sun at dawn and dusk when I'm behind the wheel.

In addition, I wear large plastic frames which you will probably classify as "douchey" (or at the very least, soooo 2006 or whenever the hell they were last in style), however, there is a reason why I choose to wear the type of frames that I do: (1) metal frames are uncomfortable on the tops of my ears and on the bridge of my nose and (2) the largeness of the frames is what keeps the sunglasses on my face...by resting on the apples of my cheeks...and not slipping down the bridge of my nose (I have a flat nose).

In summary, (1) you don't know a person's story and (2) it's not of your business.

Now, maybe you can take your own advice about growing up.

I've been wearing Ray Bans since hipsters were people like Louie Belson, Anita O'Day and Red Rodney.

"Are you trying to look like a hipster douchebag with those Ray-Bans?"

"No, I'm trying to look like Cary Grant."

"Who's Cary Grant?"

You had me at Louie Belson!

I wear my dad's Kennedy-administration Ray Bans.

I wear my "Solar Shield" clip on shades. They say I care about my eyes, care about seeing better when driving, and saved a few hundred dollars not trying to be fashionable.
