There's nothing sadder than seeing a woman in her 40s and 50s with wrinkly, leathery skin from too much tanning, makeup that looks like it's been caked on her eyes permanently, with long, overly-bleached blonde hair, and that dresses like she in her early 20s. Sad, sad, sad.....

Do not set foot in the Fashion Square mall in Scottsdale, AZ. You'll burst into tears.
Sorry but you don't look 30 or under. You look like you are about 45 years old.

I agree.
There is nothing wrong with looking your age. I think you look great jeepgirl!
I'm not trying to look 18 or 25, my goal is to look great for my age.
I asked my husband the other day if he would rather I still look like my 25 year old self and he said he is more partial to the way I look now. He likes that I have more confidence and he likes my "character" (which I think may have been code for "fine lines"...lol). It sounded like a good answer!
Plus, I'd never be mistaken for his child...LOL (his words)

All avoidable..... and probably mostly reversable too. Why skincare is a big part of the losing your looks over 35 thing.... I can't imagine how anyone thinks they're going to be able to continue wearing makeup and enjoying their looks if they don't take care of their skin. Last time I checked, wearing makeup is generally considered a key part of being feminine. Over 35 most women don't look that good without it.

Yes, I don't understand this weird age delusion so many people have. I am 40 and I look great for my age. Do I look 30? I doubt it, but that's for other people to judge. Look your best is what I say. And when we swear up and down that we look younger, it only proves insecurities.

I only look younger when I use my Tua Viso and wear makeup, which I would not be able to wear well without a rigorous skin care routine! I have no delusions whatsoever.... However, on a good day.... Last year I had a group of people thinking I was 35 trying to pass for 25 when in fact I'm 40. I hear 30 on the street frequently too. On a bad day I look every bit 40, everyone our age does, that is not the point! It's all an optical illusion, really..... and I'm with the French, I think skincare and diet is a huge part of it.

I hear that I look 25-30 often, but I don't let it go to my head. People lie in order to make us feel better. Every now and then a much younger man will see me from the back and chase after me thinking I am 20ish... then I turn around to answer his question and he'll gasp. That's the truth talking to me.
You know, you keep posting about silly things such as the Dukan diet, which mean you don't are at all about the health of your insides, only the outside part. I believe in a holistic approach. Eventually the chemicals one smears on her face will cause cancer. It is no coincidence that cancer rates keep rising. Poor diets and chemicals.
Two older women who I think are beautiful are Sharon Osborne and Carole Bayer Sager. Saw them at a Grammy dinner party a few years back and was just floored at how absolutely radiantly beautiful they were. TV and pics on the net or in magazines just do no do them justice. I mean wow. In person, they are beautiful.

I agree, Sharon Osborne is stunning.
