I've noticed a recent resurgence in the popularity of cocktail rings. Ever watch Jerseylicious?? I mean how can these women work with their hands with those huge clunkers in the way? I own a few myself but I usually wear them when I'm going out, not on an everyday basis. So what do you think?

I would think, given the name "cocktail rings", that wearing them on a day by day basis would be a little inappropriate. Presumably, they are for "dress up" times, not every day.
There's always an occasion for a cocktail ring. It just depends on the size and the design of the ring.

Love them!
I have my moms and grandmothers, as well as my own.
I dont wear them every day, I have beautiful real jewelry, but I do wear them, as well as my collection of vintage costume jewelry.
Its kinda like wearable art, some of the vintage costume stuff is better made than todays mass-produced junk at the local mall jewelers.
A few years ago, the industry came out with the right hand ring, very reminiscent of the original cocktail ring, maybe a little less flashy. I am putting one on my Christmas list.
